You are naming such a common human experience here: choosing avoidance over approach, and the simple fact that knowing better rather means doing better. You've laid it out beautifully and I'm sure so many will relate to this. There is no easy way to change (at least in my experience), just a daily practice to make the harder choice in the moment.

You're right, it's very hard.

Personally I saw that I was sabotaging all my attempts at change because I secretly did not want to. So i tried to *want* to change first instead of trying to change first.

As I said, would you wrote about such a relatable experience and I think It's so helpful to name it. For me naming the things I struggle with reduces the shame more than anything else.
